From Albatross to Wren: All 100 Birds Done!
It is with the highest level of joy that I am ready to tell you that all 100 bird entries for Zoologist's Primer: Birds are now complete: from albatross to wren. It's been a long time in the making, and I am so relieved that the main part of the book is now complete.

Here's where we are, exactly:
completed: 100 full-color bird illustrations,
completed: 100 black and white scale references,
completed: 100 quick-data tables,
completed: 100 bird entries,
completed: 100 references,
in progress: 80/100 entries edited by Lauren, our science editor,
in progress: reference tables and some other chapters surrounding the Bird Guide.
According to my spreadsheet calculations (of course I have a color-coded spreadsheet), the book is now 72% complete: 260 out of 360 pages are ready for the final editing pass. The remaining 100 pages are in a variety of completion stages, but all on schedule to wrap up all writing by the end of October, as we originally planned.
Yay! 🎉
As soon as the book is finished, I'm jumping into completing all stretch goals; the contents for them are mostly finished, but there's a lot of layout work still to do. Conveniently, layout is what I do for fun.
Also in progress: lowkey collecting materials and notes for the mammal book, because my brain can't stop and won't stop.
We'll have more updates soon, but for now, enjoy some fancy feathers 💖

After a bit of a break, our Wayfarer's Decks are back: refreshed, re-edited, and available via the DriveThruRPG page of our publisher, Hunters Entertainment. If you didn't get them before, there's a good bundle deal waiting for you: You can now get the whole digital collection at 60% off!
Also there, you can now find all digital stretch goals from previous Primers: posters, quest ideas, adventures, flash cards, coloring books, and notebooks. Plus, if you missed your chance during the recent campaign, you can also pick up the physical copies of the books! We really recommend you check out the Fungal Frottola: a three-adventure mini-campaign about helping three mushroom spores in a trenchcoat. It is awesome.
